    Terms of Service

These terms explain the basis on which WebDone Limited provides website, hosting, maintenance and related digital services.

    Last updated: 11 September 2026

    About WebDone

WebDone Limited is a UK company providing website design, hosting, maintenance, local marketing and related digital services to businesses.

    Company number: 17279847

    Agreement to these terms

These terms apply where a customer purchases, subscribes to or otherwise agrees to receive services from WebDone, unless different written terms are agreed.

A proposal, order form, invoice, direct debit mandate, written acceptance or other agreed service document may contain additional commercial terms.

Where there is a conflict between these general terms and a separately agreed written commercial agreement, the separately agreed terms take precedence for that specific service.

    Services

    WebDone may provide services including:

    • Website design and build
    • Website hosting
    • Website maintenance
    • Minor website updates
    • Google Business Profile services
    • Local SEO
    • Analytics and tracking setup
    • Advertising setup or management
    • Landing pages
    • CRM and automation
    • Related digital marketing services

The exact scope will depend on the package or written agreement purchased by the customer.

    Website build and approval

Customers are responsible for supplying information, branding, images, access credentials and approvals reasonably required for the project. WebDone may use information supplied by the customer and may reasonably rely on its accuracy.

The customer is responsible for reviewing drafts and requesting corrections before approval. Timelines can be affected if customer information, feedback, approvals or access are delayed.

Any advertised turnaround is a target and depends on timely client cooperation and project scope.

    Hosting, maintenance and minor updates

Ongoing plans may include hosting, technical maintenance and minor content updates according to the selected package.

For plans where the 15-minute update allowance applies, minor updates mean small alterations to existing pages that would normally take up to 15 minutes per request, such as updating text, prices, contact details, services or images.

New pages, substantial redesigns, custom functionality, complex integrations, extensive content creation, or work exceeding the included support scope may be quoted separately.

    Fees and payment

Fees are those stated in the applicable package, proposal, order or other written agreement. Some website offers may have no upfront build fee but include an ongoing monthly hosting and maintenance charge. The standard current website plan may be advertised at £30 per month on a 12-month minimum term.

Additional services may carry one-off or recurring fees. Payment dates and methods will be those agreed during purchase or onboarding. Customers must maintain a valid payment method where recurring payments apply.

WebDone may suspend services for materially overdue payments after reasonable notice.

    Cancellations and termination

Cancellation rights, minimum terms and notice periods depend on the package or commercial agreement accepted by the customer. Any specific minimum commitment or notice period will be communicated before or at the point the customer agrees to the service.

Either party may terminate where the other commits a serious breach and fails to remedy it within a reasonable period where remedy is possible. WebDone may suspend or terminate services for unlawful, abusive or materially harmful use.

    Customer responsibilities

    Customers are responsible for:

    • Providing accurate information
    • Having the rights to use supplied text, logos, images and other materials
    • Obtaining any licences, permissions or consents required for their business
    • Reviewing and approving website content
    • Maintaining appropriate security over their own accounts and login details
    • Complying with applicable laws and regulations relating to their business

    Intellectual property

Customers retain ownership of materials they supply. Third-party assets, fonts, software, plugins, platforms or stock materials remain subject to their own licence terms.

Ownership or licence rights in custom website work may depend on the commercial arrangement purchased. WebDone retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, processes, frameworks, templates, systems and know-how.

    Third-party services

WebDone may use or integrate third-party services such as hosting platforms, analytics services, CRM systems, email services, advertising platforms, domain registrars and other software.

Third-party services may have their own terms and availability. WebDone cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of services outside its reasonable control, and third-party pricing or policies may change.

    Domains

Domain registration arrangements vary by customer. Where WebDone purchases or manages a domain on behalf of a customer, the customer must provide accurate registration information and pay any agreed fees.

Renewal responsibilities should follow the individual agreement. WebDone is not responsible for a domain expiring where the customer has taken over responsibility and fails to renew it.

    SEO, advertising and marketing results

    WebDone cannot guarantee:

    • Specific Google rankings
    • A particular number of leads
    • Advertising results
    • Revenue
    • Conversion rates
    • Continued placement in search results

Search engines, advertising platforms, competitors, customer budgets and market conditions are outside WebDone’s control. WebDone will provide the agreed services with reasonable care and skill.

    Client content and legal compliance

The customer is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the claims, prices, services, promotions and other business information published on their website are accurate and lawful.

WebDone may refuse to publish material that appears unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive or otherwise inappropriate.

    Availability and maintenance

WebDone may occasionally need to carry out maintenance or make technical changes. WebDone does not guarantee that websites or third-party systems will be available without interruption at all times.

    Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

    • WebDone is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses
    • WebDone is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control
    • WebDone is not responsible for failures of third-party platforms outside its reasonable control

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

    Indemnity

A business customer may be responsible for losses or claims arising from materials or instructions they supply where those materials infringe third-party rights or are unlawful.

    Confidentiality

Both parties should treat confidential business information received during the relationship as confidential and use it only for the purposes of providing or receiving the services, except where disclosure is required by law or the information is already legitimately public.

    Data protection

Personal information is handled in accordance with WebDone’s Privacy Policy. Read our Privacy Policy.

    Changes to services or terms

WebDone may update these general terms where reasonably necessary, for example to reflect changes in services, law or technology. Material changes affecting an existing customer relationship will be communicated where appropriate.

    Events outside reasonable control

WebDone is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as widespread hosting outages, internet failures, platform outages, natural disasters, government action or similar events.

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
